A Place At Home – Lafayette is a locally owned home care agency backed by the trusted resources of the national A Place At Home franchise and global home care brand Dovida. 

We provide personalized, non-medical care that helps seniors remain safe, independent, and connected at home, including specialized support for those living with Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, stroke recovery, and other chronic conditions. Founded on the belief that every senior deserves the same compassionate care we would want for our own loved ones, our mission is reflected in the personal caregiving experiences of owners Larry and Charletta Thomas.

As a VA-credentialed provider, we also help eligible veterans access in-home care benefits.
